Dear Chairman
Yesterday I saw in the news that your commission spend hundreds of millions of Rupees for printing of ballot papers.
I am writing this mail to make a suggestion which will help cut down the ballot paper printing, cost drastically.
It is proposed to have two ballot paper for each polling station, one with officials and other exhibited in the polling booth.
The ballot paper itself can be a small card with only two lines and columns in it.
The voter can take the number of the candidate from the list exhibited and fill his ballot paper, first and second preference in his card.
Some might say that this is bit complicated for the voters. But I would tell them, should such a person, who cannot even select two numbers from a list be allowed to select a government or a ruler who would manage 100 billion dollar economy?
