Hefty visa fee

 I haven't been to Sri Lanka for almost three decades and am currently rediscovering it - with a stay of almost three months. To do this, we had to apply for a three-month visa at the Sri Lankan embassy in Berlin, which cost 143 euros per adult - a hefty price as an entrance fee and, in my opinion, an obstacle to tourism, which could be a future mainstay of this beautiful island with potential. The garbage problem also stands in the way of this, i.e. the garbage on the roadside, in nature and in the water. As a development project, I propose the establishment of a think tank, which would have to be staffed by suitable people or be founded by these suitable people themselves - they should be free and creative thinkers.
